Martin web design was founded in 2003 by Andy Martin after he found it very difficult to procure a website for his own fine wine business. People either could not do what he wanted or they were very expensive. Coming from a construction design background he felt he could transfer his own design skills and successfully created his own website. Subsequently he completed websites for some of his friends and colleagues until eventually he felt there was enough of a market for him to go 'full time'. Martin Web Design is based around the principal that anything is possible and just because a website is bespoke and graphically stimulating doesn't make it hugely expensive. The business is aimed primarily at those small and medium size companies that, so far, have resisted 'going online', but who are increasingly coming to realise that a website is as necessary as any other part of their marketing strategy and that by not having one they are falling behind their competitors. Additionally, those companies who have websites that are out of date or old fashioned but who feel that it is too expensive to update them.
